1、 Instrument usage:
The root analysis system is used for professional root analysis after root washing, and can also be used for root phenotype analysis of root box cultured plants. It can analyze root length, diameter, area, volume, root tip counting, etc. It is powerful, easy to operate, and the software can analyze the morphology and overall structural distribution of plant roots. It is widely used in root morphology and structural research.
2、 Instrument principle:
The root analysis system uses a high-quality graphic scanner to obtain high-resolution color or black and white images of plant roots. The scanner is equipped with a dedicated dual light source illumination system below and on the top cover of the scanning panel, and a dual light source calibration area is reserved on the scanning panel. In addition, it is equipped with specialized, high transparency root placement trays of different sizes. When scanning, the light source under the scanning panel and the light source in the upper cover plate simultaneously scan the root samples in the high transparency root plate. This can avoid the influence of shadows and unevenness that are prone to occur during root scanning, effectively ensuring the quality of the obtained images.
This software for root analysis can read images in TIFF and JPEG standard formats. Using software that inserts encryption dongles for decryption, analyze the high-quality root images obtained from scanning. Using non statistical methods to measure and calculate basic morphological parameters such as root length, diameter, area, volume, and root tip in the overlapping areas. So as to meet the research needs of researchers for different categories and levels of plant roots.

(16) It can perform root fork pruning, merging, connecting and other corrections, and the correction operation can be rolled back to quickly obtain 100% correct results.
(17) The box dimension method can be used to automatically measure the fractal dimension of root systems. The number of root nodules can be analyzed to objectively determine the contribution of rhizobia.
(18) Large scale fully automatic root analysis, batch saving, can summarize the overall data and save it in a table, or save detailed data for each root system.
(19) Extract analysis characteristics from corner analysis and horizontal angle analysis.
(20) Each analysis image, distribution chart, and result data can be saved and exported to an Excel spreadsheet, and analysis marker charts can be output.
