I. Use

The photographic plant root analysis system is an automated system for rapid photography and multi-parameter, batch analysis of washed roots of 0.5mm diameter or more. The whole system consists of a high-frequency camera, analysis software (PC) and a computer (self-provided), and its imaging speed is 20 times faster than that of the scanning model.

(15) It can carry out topological analysis of the root system, automatically determine the number of root connections, relationship angle, etc. It can also automatically analyse the length, area, volume, etc. of any section of roots, and separately display the corresponding parameters of any diameter section of the marked root system (which can be customized without equal spacing).

(16) It can carry out corrections such as root bifurcation cutting, merging, connecting, etc., and the correction operation can be rolled back in order to quickly obtain 100% correct results.

(17) It can automatically measure the fractal dimension of the root system by the box dimension method. The number of rhizomes can be analysed to objectively determine the amount of rhizobial contribution.

(18) Fully automated root analysis in large batches with batch saving, which allows the overall data to be summarised and saved in a table, as well as detailed data for each root system.

(19) Ground angle analysis and horizontal angle analysis to extract analysis characteristics.

(20) Each analysis image, distribution map, and result data can be saved and output to Excel sheet, and analysis marking map can be output.
