I. Instrument Introduction
The handheld canopy analyser can be widely used in agricultural production and agricultural research. In order to carry out the canopy light energy resource survey, measure the interception of light in the plant canopy, and study the relationship between crop growth and development, yield quality and light energy utilisation, this instrument is used to measure and record the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) in the 400 nm-700 nm wavelength band, and the unit of the measured values is micromoles on square metre-second (µmol/㎡s). At the same time using PAR readings and GPS positioning information and other parameters can give the leaf area index (LAI) of the plant canopy.
Functional features
