I. Purpose

The Plant Nutrient Meter instantly measures the relative chlorophyll content (in SPAD) or greenness of plants, nitrogen content, and foliar temperature to understand the true nitro requirement of the plant and to see if the soil is nitrogen deficient or if nitrogen fertiliser has been applied in excess. This instrument can be used to increase the utilisation of nitrogen fertiliser and to protect the environment. It can be widely used in agriculture and forestry related research units and universities for the study of plant physiological indicators and guidance of agricultural production.

II. Functional features
